Longlevens continued the tempo and a well placed kick from Pascoe and winger Butler tackling his opposition over the line to win the 5 metre scrum which resulted in Hosken picking and scoring in the corner! Conversion successful.
Tewksbury started to work up the pitch and penalties against enable Tewkesbury to reduce the score to 12- 6 further penalties cost Longlevens and reduced the team to 13 men but Longleven regrouped and scored again conversion successful. 19-6 halftime
2nd half still with only 13 men, Tewkesbury put pressure on early and were camped in Longlevens 22’ but with the wet weather making conditions tricky and good defence Longlevens kept the score down.

Some neat passing in midfield and front foot rugby being direct by scrum half Turner the tries started coming first from Hosken, the pick of the tries was from a driving maul from the resulting line out inside Tewkesburys 22’ Parsons dropping over, next Hills strength allowed him to bundled over under the posts 2/3 conversions were successful! credit to the lads for a good home win under Youngs captaincy and game control from scrum half Turner against a resilient Tewkesbury side, putting Longlevens in a good position ready for the National Cup game away against Clifton on Sunday. #UTFG
