Longlevens Rugby seconds entertained Hucclecote RFC 2nd team at Longford Lane and put in a good performance. The game started, and the first half Longlevens were in total control and scored 5 tries in the first half, the first for Henry York before there was 4 tries for the impressive Mike Yorke. The first he ripped the ball from the Hucclecote number eight at the back of the scrum before diving over, the next saw some nice play from the influential Ben Furley offloaded to Jack Beck and Mike York was on his shoulder for the final pass to score his second.

The next score was from Henry York making a good break before offloading inside to Mike Yorke for his 3rd try, the last try of the half came from a good break from skipper Martin Deacon and again Mike Yorke ran the support line for his 4th try of the afternoon leaving the halftime score 35-0. The second half Hucclecote got into the game and scored their first try before Longlevens speedy full back Jake Fox was next on the score sheet followed by a second for Henry Yorke, who dived over in the corner. After good play and neat offloads by veterans Andrew Royce and Dan Wonton.

Next on the score sheet was Hucclecote leaving the score 47-14, but Longlevens had the last say with some nice hands realeasing Bill Hambling who showed a good turn of speed for the final score. It was a good performance and was good to show some of the old Longlevens players how the second team have been performing all year.A good evening was followed in the club house after with the former players reunion.
