After having weeks of being close to having 3 sides available Longlevens Rugby finally managed to get 3 sides out on the field after getting a few lads back to play.
The game started well with Longlevens playing down the slope and getting the first score after a loose pass Harry Hunter hacked the ball on to score under the post 7-0.


Chosen then used there big forwards to good effect and got a score of there own 7-7.


Longlevens were next on the score board after going through phases close to the line Jack Beecham went  over from close range, with Dave York reliable boot making the score 14-7.


Longlevens were next to score again going through multi phases the hard working and Captain for the day Louis Bosley got on the score sheet 21-7.


Chosen were next to score just before half time with their two best players there 12 and 8 making good ground half time score 21-14.


Sadly for the first 15 minutes of the second half Longleven were still asleep and chosen scored 3 tries 35-21 the score quickly turned in Chosen favour.


The  turning point was next to come with Longlevens 5 meters out from Chosens line their 10 got to the ball in a ruck and cause Chosen a penalty and from resulting kick up field a catch and drive resulted in a score for chosen 42-21 and Longlevens chasing the game with 15 to go.


Credit to Longlevens last 15 minutes playing up hill they never gave up but could not get the score they deserved.


A good run out for the 3rds for first time this year. Some stand out performances by captain Louis Bosley and second row Joe wheeler who made some good yards all game with his hard running. 2 starting debuts in the team for Josh Smioth and Jack Beecham starting his first senior games.


Good day for Longlevens who were able to field 3 senior team and a mixed ability teams and recorded 3 victory’s well done lads
