Longlevens Colts Triumph in Gritty Top-of-the-Table Battle

In a fierce contest under adverse weather conditions, Longlevens Colts came away with an impressive 5-26 victory over Cheltenham Saracens Colts. Playing away in a top-of-the-table clash, Longlevens had to dig deep against a determined and very talented Saracens side.

Cheltenham Saracens struck first, scoring a try early on, but a strong wind denied them the conversion. Minutes before the break, Longlevens earned a penalty try from a 5-metre line-out, giving them a narrow lead heading into halftime.

The second half saw Longlevens make full use of the wind at their backs. Both the forwards and backs combined for one of their best performances of the season, grinding down the Saracens defence with powerful runs and relentless pressure. Longlevens powered their way to three more tries, securing a well-deserved try bonus point.

This hard-fought win strengthens their position at the top of the table and demonstrating resilience in challenging circumstances.
