Sunday we welcomed clubs from around the county as we held a Rugby World Cup tag tournament, we had 28 teams enter over the two ages groups and what a great day it was.
Due to RFU restrictions ‘All the children were winners’. We did, however, award spirits awards so a big well done to Newent U7’s and Chosen Hill FP U8’s girls section, like all the child they showed great sportsmanship and showed throughout what rugby is all about.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped set up on the day and a big thank you to Cat the club’s photographer for capturing the great day with some well taken action shots.
The feed back from the participating teams was great to hear, so keep a look out for potentially another one in 2024!
