Longlevens Juniors Membership & Crowdfund Update Nov 2020
Dear Parents and Supporters of Longlevens Rugby,
At last night’s junior committee there was a constructive discussion around the current high levels of outstanding junior membership. After the losses of the first lockdown and the breaking news that the club will be shut for November (historically one of our most successful months due to Fireworks and Sportsman’s Lunch Events) the club is in urgent need of financial support. However, we agreed that we could not ignore the impact that the Return to Community Rugby restrictions have had on child participation rates, enjoyment factors, and ultimately value for money in these most pressing of times.
The identification of these issues coincides with our recently launched crowdfund campaign and presents the opportunity for us to hit our £20,000 target. If we hit our £20,000 target, then Sport England will provide an extra £10,000 on top!
Hitting our target could be the most important thing we ever do as a club.

- Junior Membership is now available to buy via our Crowdfund Page for the special price of £60 - saving £20!
- Extra children in your family will cost just £40 each - saving £20 on child 2, and £10 on child 3!
- Purchasing this membership will automatically entitle you to a place on the ‘Buy a Pic’ wall of legends.
- This offer is only available until December 1st
- From December 11th a strict ‘No pay, no play' policy will be enforced.

A huge, huge thank you must go out to those that have already bought membership. You stepped up when the club was in desperate need and that cannot be understated. As a thank you for your prompt payment you will be entered into a prize draw and we will get to work on securing some outstanding prizes for your prompt efforts.
These are incredibly difficult times for our children and it is now more important than ever that we look ahead to safeguard our children and make sure Longlevens Rugby is ready with open arms to welcome them back into the Griffin family.
